A friend of mine was up in Auckland a wee while ago.. April.
I managed to slink off with him a couple times (once with the Canon club) and shoot a few things, and learn his technique. We were out at Murawai, up at the Albany Mall, under the Bridge, and a North Shore BEach
The photos I took are on his camera, so I don’t have any to show just yet.
But I do have what he shot of me..

So, I have had a few folks ‘kindly’ asking me to update my site. I’m wondering, if perhaps, it’s a little to do with the fact that I haven’t blogged anything since nigh on a year ago..

So, I’m going to cheat again. I have been updating, but it’s all been photos in the gallery

Here’s a few..

I went to Sydney for work. I’d never been there before, and luckily for me, a little bit of time was put aside for seeing that famous opera place..

I also sat down at West Haven Marina one winter morning, at 6:30am until the sun was well up, and got these..

And also, a bit before that, I went out to Murawai again - I shot some of these..

I feel the urge to blog, but I am lacking inspiration as to what to blog about.
I just know that’s it’s already nearing 1am, and guess what, I’m still awake!
Nothing is worrying me, no stress is prevailing to keep me insomniatic ( <- iKirstism ). I’m just awake.
I do know, that if I climb the stairs to my room, all I will do it watch one of my many girly flicks until slumber prevails. At this point in time, that feels like I’m wasting precious writing time. Yep, I am back into my writing.
I have been scrawling on screeds of scraps of paper, endless post it notes and business cards.
I’ve been promising myself, that one day I’ll actually transfer those scrawlings onto blog or actual note book. But so far I have failed. Oops!

For now, that will do. I have so many stories, I’m filled to the brim, but I just can’t seem to find the right voice or way to write them.
I may even try over the weekend..

I was lucky enough to get a media pass to the most recent round of the D1NZ in Taupo.

Drifting is most definately a fun motorsport event to shoot. Here are a few of mine.. (the rest are over this way)
